Police AC beat Barnak Somaj by 2-0 goals in a match of the Green Delta Metropolis First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city Tuesday, reports UNB.
Rana Das scored both the goals for Police AC -- the first from a penalty corner in the 6th minute and the second a field goal in the 58th minute.
In the day's other matches, Dhaka Wanderers Club drew 1-1 with Mukto Bihongo Torun Songho at the same venue in the afternoon.
Asif Alam put Wanderers Club ahead in the 31st minute while Monir Hossain restored the parity for Mukto Bihongo in the 66th minute.
Bachelors SC played to a one-all draw with Victoria SC at the same venue.
Mohammad Yousuf scored for Victoria SC in the 44th minute while Sumon netted the equaliser for Bachelors SC in the 65th minute.
