Police, AL clash with BNP activists in Natore, 7 hurt

NATORE, Jan 4 (UNB): Seven people including two policemen were injured as a clash broke out among police, supporters of Awami League and BNP activists during the party's leaflets distribution programme at Singra Bus Stand in Singra upazila of Natore district on Thursday.
Witnesses said the leaders and activists of BNP, led by Daudar Mahmud, started their leaflet distribution in the morning to drum up public support in favour of the party's call to boycott the January 7 election and not cooperate with the Awami League government.
