Police arrest five 'robbers' in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, July 1 (UNB): Police in a drive arrested five suspected robbers from Mongla port area of the district in the early hours of Sunday.
The arrestees are Abdul Malek, Babul Hossain, Shahidul Islam, Babul Mia and Faruk of Sharankhola upazila.
Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested them early in the morning, said Pankaj Chandra Roy, superintendent of police in Bagerhat.
