Police arrest man for 'raping' minor girl in Chapainawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Mar 15 (UNB): A 48-year-old man was arrested for allegedly violating a five-year-old girl in the Sadar Upazila on Friday.
The arrestee is Mostafa alias Mosta (48), son of Shetu Mandal of the upazila.
"Mostafa took the girl to a lemon orchard on Thursday afternoon and raped the girl," said Kabir Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar thana.
The victim's mother filed a case with the thana in the night. The victim has been sent to a hospital for medical tests.
Police raided the area early in this morning and arrested Mostafa.
