Police arrest two brothers with 1.3m Yaba pills in Ctg

The detective branch of police has arrested two brothers with 1.3 million Yaba pills, valued at about Tk 70 million (7 crore) in the underground market, in a drive in Chattogram, reports bdnews24.com.
Being tipped off, police raided a house in the residential area of Shyamoli in Halishahar and seized around 300,000 Yaba pills from the house, Metropolitan Detective Police Inspector Md Kamruzzaman said. Later, they seized another consignment of one million pills from a car in the garage of the house.
The arrested persons are Md Ashraf, 48, and his brother Md Hasan, 24, who hailed from Naikhongchhari in Bandarban. They lived in the house with their families.
