Police confiscate goods of two Rajon killing case accused in Sylhet

Police on Tuesday confiscated goods of two absconding accused in the case for killing child Samiul Alam Rajon at Kumargaon in Sylhet.
Jalalabad police seized goods available in the houses of main accused Kamrul Islam and his brother Shahim in village Sheikhpara at around 2 pm, a BSS report said.
The goods include sofa sets, cots, mattresses, blankets and different types of furniture.
Earlier on Monday, the court of Sylhet Metropolitan Magistrate-1 Sahedul Karim ordered confiscation of the properties of Kamrul, Shamim and other accused Pavel.
Jalalabad Police Station Officer-in-Charge Akhtar Hossain said the goods were confiscated upon the court order issued on Monday.
Police filed charge sheet in Rajon killing case on August 16 accusing 13 people. Of them, three were shown absconding. They are Kamrul Islam, who is detained in Saudi Arabia, his brother Shamim and Pavel.
The court took the charge sheet in contingence and issued arrest orders against the three and ordered confiscation of their properties.
Thirteen-year-old Rajon was brutally beaten to death on July 8.
