Police detain AL leader with undeclared bullets at Dhaka airport

Airport authorities detained an Awami League (AL) leader along with 44 undeclared bullets from the domestic terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday, reports UNB.
ABM Majharul Enam, Darus Salam thana unit president of AL, was attempting to pass the domestic terminal with undeclared ammunition to board a flight of Regent Airways for going to Cox's Bazar around 10:15 am, said Alamgir Hossain, additional superintendent of police (Operation and Media) of Airport Armed Police.
Security personnel detained Majharul with 44 bullets for carrying those without following due procedure, he said.
"Majharul was handed over to Airport thana." He added.
