Police, Josephites Club move to semis

Bangladesh Police and Josephites Club moved to the semifinal of the Federation Cup Basketball Tournament beating their respective opponents at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city Monday, reports UNB.
In the first match, Bangladesh Police beat Dhumketu Club by 46-43 points after leading the first half by 29-24.
Tareq caged 14 points while Pintu 10 for Dhumketu Club. Rustom notched 11 points for Bangladesh Police.
In the 2nd match, Josephites Club defeated Hornets SC by 94-77 points after enjoying a 52-33 first half lead.
Raja scored 20 points while Ibrahim 18 for Josephites Club. Ovi and Aziz netted 19 and 18 points respectively for Hornets SC.
