Police nab 20 ICS activists

SATKHIRA, July 16 (UNB): Police in separate drives arrested 20 activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) from the different parts of the district Wednesday and Thursday.
The arrestees were identified as Kamrul Islam, Nurul Islam, Abdur Rahman, Sultan Gazi, Abul Kalam, Ahad Ali, Sahinur Rahman, Abdul Ahad, Sahajahan, Abdullah, Abdul Momin, Abdus Sabur, Akramuzzaman, Sabbir Hossain, Siddique, Hasanuzzaman, Shafiqul Islam, Abdul Kader, Israfil Hossain and Rabiul Islam.
Police said they were arrested on various charges, including instigating people to violate law, staging demonstrations and creating anarchy in the district.
