Police officer killed in road accident

A police officer was killed and two constables were injured as a motorcycle carrying them slammed into the railing of Ghorashal Bridge at Muradnagar Upazila in Comilla on Thursday night. The dead is Abdul Quader, 40, sub-inspector of Muradnagar police station. He hailed from Chandpur district. Azim Uddin, officer-in-charge of the police station, said a motorcycle the three policemen, including Quader, were ridding hit the railing of Ghorashal Bridge as the biker lost control over the two-wheeler, leaving Quader dead on the spot and his two colleagues injured around 11:00am, according to a news agency.
