Police officer\\\'s arms, money looted

A gang of muggers looted a pistol and cash money from a police officer in Solonga Upazila in Sirajganj district on Sunday night. Victim Mostafizur Rahman, a sub-inspector of Solonga Police Station, said a gang of muggers, numbering 7/8, intercepted him near Somobaya Petrol Pump and looted his pistol and Tk 2,000 in cash from him at gunpoint while he was returning home at about 10:45 pm.
