Police officers get CCNA-1 certificate

The first batch of police officers from the Police Telecom department was awarded the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)-1 completion certificate at the Cisco Lab under the American International University- Bangladesh (AIUB) Cisco Regional Academy recently, said a press release.
A group of 18 police officers was headed by Assistant Superintendent of Police Mosharraf Hossain. Certificates were handed over to the successful candidates by Rezaur Razzak, Director, Continuing Education Centre.
This training program is part of the efforts of the top management of the police department to modernise the police force by developing their human resource capability, especially in the area of information and communications technology.
After completing the CCNA, police officers will be able to independently design, develop, and manage their own computer networks.
This will eventually boost the police force's ability to maintain law and order with added technological edge.
