Monday, 9 March 2015
Police have raided the Sylhet home of Shafiur Rahman Farabi, prime suspect of writer-blogger Avijit Roy's murder, reports bdnews24.com.
No one was at home during the search at the city's Munshiparha on Sunday morning.
Farabi's mother and sister have been living there for one year. The apartment was locked from the outside, said Sylhet Metropolitan police's Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Rahmat Ullah. He said a team of Kotwali police had assisted the Dhaka Metropolitan Police's detective team in the raid.
"We forced our way in and confiscated a computer and some documents," he said without specifying the contents of the computer.
