Police recover cocktail from RU campus

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Jun 5: The Motihar police recovered cocktail from the premises of Syed Ismail Hossain Siraji Bhaban of Rajshahi University (RU) Saturday morning.
According to the police, the on-duty sweeper and guard noticed the cocktail covered with a bag at around 8am and informed them.
A group of policemen then rushed to the spot and recovered the cocktail. Then they deactivated the cocktail.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Motihar police station Abul Khair told newsmen that miscreants might have kept the cocktail to spread panic among the general students. This might have been done to harass the opposition, he added.
