Police recover injured AL activist from Hafiz's house

BHOLA, April 23 (BSS): Lalmohan Thana Police recovered an injured Awami League (AL) activist, Abul Kashem Sabbir, Thursday night from the house of Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, BNP candidate in Bhola-3 by election.
Police said Sabbir was wounded while BNP cadres attacked him Thursday in Uttar Phulbagicha area under Lalmohan Upazila. Then another group of BNP cadres snatched him from beside the Samiti Bazar Maath while some people were taking him to a clinic.
BNP cadres took him to the house of BNP candidate Hafizuddin at Lalmohan Sadar and confined him in a room.
On information, Lalmohan Thana police recovered injured Sabbir from the spot. Later, he was admitted to Lalmohan Upazila health care centre.
