Police SI closed for negligence

BRAHMANBARIA, July 5 (UNB): Two police men were closed from Nabinagar police station on charge of negligence of duties today (Monday).
The accused police were SI Abdul Awal and Constable Abdul Haque.
Police sources said, on Friday night Awal and Abdul arrested three young people from T&T Road. At one stage the arrestees Rigan and Suman with handcuffs escaped from the hands of the policemen.
Later, police re-arrested Regan within 24 hours but failed to nab Suman.
Police Super Mokhlesur Rahman said, Awal and Haque were closed for negligence of their duties. He said departmental actions will be taken against them.
