Police \\\'source\\\' dies at hospital in city

A police 'informant' who was injured in an attack by some miscreants died at a private hospital in Uttara of the capital on Thursday night, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Aminur Rahman Momen, 24, a resident of Auchpara in Tongi and hailed from Mithapukur Upazila of Rangpur district.
Sub-inspector of Tongi Police Station Sumon said Momen was an informant of police.
A group of miscreants stabbed Momen indiscriminately over previous enmity  after taking him near a factory on the Beximco Road in the Tongi area on Monday, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to the Tongi Government Hospital from where doctors referred him to Dhaka.
Later, Momen was admitted to Chin Chin Hospital in Uttara where he succumbed to his injuries around 9pm on Thursday.
Police sent the body to the Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy on Friday.
