Police source held with revolver

Law enforcers Monday arrested a police source alongwith firearms and ammunition from Demra in the capital Sunday night, RAB sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from RAB-10 unit raided a shop named Binimoy Library and Telecom at Demra Bazar at about 11:15pm and captured the police source ---Amir Hossain (25)-from behind the shop.
Later, the elite force members recovered one revolver, two rounds of bullet and 90 bottles Phensidyl.
A senior RAB official said Amir is a police source who secretly collected information about the criminals at Jatrabari area.
Later, the police produced him before a CMM court in the afternoon from where they were granted a two-day police remand to interrogate Amir.
