Police team off to Sudan

A contingent of 140 Bangladeshi police personnel left for joining the UN peacekeeping mission in Darfur, Sudan, Saturday by a chartered aircraft of the United Nations. Superintendent of Police AKM Awlad Hossain led the team, as commander to establish peace in volatile Darfur. — BSS
