Police vehicle bombed in Bogra, 8 held

Miscreants have hurled a Molotov cocktail at a police vehicle, at least 150 yards from the Amar Ekushey Book Fair in Bogra marking the International Mother Language Day.
Police detained eight people suspecting their involvement in the bombing from the premises of Bogra Zila School Friday. The school is right beside the seven-day-long book fair’s venue, Shaheed Khokan Park.
Bogra Sadar Police Station OC Faizul Islam said the bomb was hurled from inside the school around 7:30pm, according to a news agency.
