Policeman closed for neglect of duties

KHULNA, Dec 8 (UNB): An ASI of Sonadanga thana of the city was closed on Tuesday night on charge of negligence to his duties.
It is learnt that an accused Liton, who was arrested from Bastuhara area, managed to flee from the custody of Assistant Sub-inspector(ASI) Mahbubur Rahman in Boira area on his way to the thana Tuesday evening.
Later, Mr Mahbub was closed to the police lines on charge of negligence to his duties.
A departmental case was also filed against the police man.
