Political calm stressed to encourage foreign investors

President Abdul Hamid on Saturday said the foreign investors will feel encouraged to invest in Bangladesh considering the existing advantages and political environment favourable to investment. “Currently, a very congenial atmosphere for investment is prevailing in Bangladesh apart from political stability,” he said adding that the government has ensured uninterrupted supply of electricity in addition to making foreign investment secure. The President said this while speaking at the golden jubilee celebration programme of the Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at Sonargaon Hotel in the city, according to a news agency.
