Political uncertainty looms

Monday, 4 August 2014

The ruling party is reluctant to sit for a dialogue with the BNP for a fresh new participatory election in the country. Upon her return from London where she attended the 'Girl Summit' and met British Prime  Minister David Cameron, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a news conference made it further clear that she has no intention of holding dialogue with the BNP. This makes us worried. The BNP since long has been telling that it would go for massive movement after Eid. Media reports suggest the BNP is preparing for fresh agitation for a free, fair election.
We the common people are apprehending another bout of street brawls and loss of lives and property. Common people want to get rid of this sickening politics as they have seen it for the last four decades and they do not want it repeat.  A fear of political instability is looming in the horizon and it is not good for our country and its fragile economy. We hope the ruling party will talk with the BNP and bring a solution amicably and save our country and economy from unnecessary troubles.
