Politics as a means of livelihood

When politics is used as a means to earn livelihood, there shall definitely be anarchy and bloodshed. That is the reason behind the current political turmoil. In our country, being in power increases the chances of earning more and this is also the reason why opposition parties are dragged into a power struggle.
Politicians should not take politics as his/her means of livelihood. Our senior politicians should develop a system within their parties so that only honest and upright people can turn out as future leaders. We must realize that 'politics' is 'leadership' and not a means to earn livelihood.
