Pollard first cricketer to play 400 T20 matches

MUMBAI, Jan 24 (Hindustan Times): West Indies cricketer Kieron Pollard has become the first cricketer ever to have played 400 T20 matches. The 30-year-old Pollard achieved this feat in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia, during the clash between Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades on Monday.
Pollard, who plays for Adelaide Strikers in the BBL, has completed 400 T20 appearances playing for West Indies along with various other teams in T20 leagues around the world. Pollard made his first appearance in the shortest format in 2006.
The burly cricketer from Trinidad has been a regular member of the three-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winners in Mumbai Indians.
