Poor show by the Tigers

Friday, 19 September 2014

The Tigers have lost their second Test match against their much illustrated opponent the West Indies. Cricket-loving people of the country are surely disappointed with their meek surrender. In both innings the Bangladesh batsmen failed to cross even 200. Tamim is the only batsman who played well in both the innings but no other batsmen showed any consistency although Shamsul, Mominul and Mahmudullah each played an innings to push the score board a bit higher.
Bangladesh need to play more longer-version game often; otherwise we won't see improvement in the Test matches. The Bangladesh Cricket Board needs to prepare good fast wicket at home so that the players are not totally lost when they play in foreign lands like the West Indies, Australia and England. Only in fast and bouncy pitches good fast bowlers will be developed. The Tigers need to improve much and work hard as they are no longer novice in cricket. There is no alternative for them to improve and learn fast. Cricket is the most popular game in our country and it is widely watched by the common people. We hope soon our cricket team will bounce back as they did in the past.
