Popular Life Insurance Co Ltd held its 16th Shariah Council meeting at the boardroom of the company at Dilkusha in the city Monday, said a press release.
Chairman of the Shariah Council of the company Sayed Kamal Uddin Zafri presided over the meeting.
Members of the Shariah Council Mufti Muhammad Maulana Abdus Sattar, Prof Mostafizur Rahman, Prof ABM Habibur Rahman Chowdhury, Maulana Mafizur Rahman, Maulana Arif Billah Siddiqui, Ruhul Amin Khan and M Mahfuzul Bari Chowdhury were present at the meeting.
Managing Director (Current Charge) BM Yousuf Ali and Additional Managing Director Md Yousuf Ali Mridha, among others, were present on the occasion.
