SUKUK, plural of Arabic word meaning certificate reflects ownership/participation rights in the underlying assets. Modern sukuk, sometimes referred to as Islamic bonds, are better described as Islamic investment certificates.
The legitimacy of sukuk bond is as Allah in Holy Qur'an said that "When ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time reduce them to writing.
