Power plant stay unrepaired at Syedpur

One diesel operated electricity producing plant at Syedpur in Nilphamari district remain inoperative for the last few years.
Sources said the plant having electricity generation capacity of 20 MW can be renovated which would be helpful to meet the entire demand of electricity of the district.
At present one gas turbine electricity producing plant is in operation producing 20 MW electricity, bulk of which goes to the national grid.
