Power, real estate, construction expos begin in city Dec 3

A three-day international power, solar, real estate and construction exhibition will be held in Dhaka early next month. The exhibition will begin from Thursday.
Event management firm CEMS will organise the exhibitions such as 15th Power Bangladesh, 10th Solar Bangladesh, 16th Real Expo and 18th ConExpo in the capital’s International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) bringing together exhibitors from over 10 countries.
Organisers said different local and international companies of equipment manufacturers and technology providers will also take part in the exhibition to showcase their products and services.
Addressing a press conference at Jatiya Press Club, resident Managing Director of CEMS USA and Asia Pacific Mehrun N Islam said visitors from various parts of the world, including Bangladesh, will visit this comprehensive expo to familiarise themselves with these sectors and see investment climate where Bangladesh government encourages foreign investment.
She said the power expo will be divided into four parts and in three separate names to showcase three types of products and services in the power sector.
These are “15th Power Bangladesh” for power equipment, generation and transmission,” “10th Solar Power for solar service and equipment,” “16th Real Expo and 18th Con-Expo for showcasing construction materials, method, equipment and real estate industry.
