FE ReportPower Tube International has recently signed a joint venture partnership with Kuldip Singh, CEO of Power Tube Bangladesh, to provide pollution-free electrical energy across the Indian sub-continent, using local renewable resources. Mr Singh was selected for this joint venture over 13 other international firms, according to a press release. Use of Power Tube - a geomagnatic generator - will reduce the use of hydrocarbon-based materials, presently used for power generation. A 10-megawatt Power Tube unit can eliminate 400 tonnes of atmospheric pollution, equivalent to 1.0 million gallons of fuel or 1,240 tonnes of coal, the release also said. "This new product has the potential to provide higher standard of living in the third-world countries by providing clean energy at affordable prices," Mr Singh said. Mr Singh has plan to build two assembling plants in Bangladesh for Power Tube generators and set up separate drilling equipment manufacturing plants for their installation. Power Tube technology is environment-friendly, as it does not use any atomic fuels and produce acid rain and destroy the fauna or flora. The technology is also free from the danger of contaminating underground aquifers, and it prevents global warming. The company has taken 11 years to develop the technology and replace a 150-year-old power generation technology. American Air Force has shown interest to purchase and install its 1,300 units at various locations, the release added.
