Pragati Life signs group insurance deal with BAU

Pragati Life Insurance Limited (PLIL) has recently signed a group life and hospitalisation insurance deal with Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh, according to a press release.
PLIL Managing Director Zafar Halim and BAU Registrar Md Nozibur Rahman and Treasurer Md Idris Ali signed the agreement on behalf of the respective organisations.
Under the deal, Pragati Life Insurance will provide group life and hospitalisation insurance coverage to the BAU teachers, officers and other staff along with their dependent family members.
Also present at the signing ceremony were PLIL Assistant Managing Director MM Monirul Alam, Senior Principal Officer Md Rafiqual Alam Bhuiyan and Medical Consultant Dr AK Aziz Hasan, BAU Student Affairs Adviser Prof Dr Md Abul Khair Chowdhury, Teachers Association General Secretary Prof Dr MAM Yahia Khandoker, Officers Association General Secretary Md Luthfor Rahman, Staff Association President Md Khurshid Alam and Accounts Department Officer Md Azhar Ali.
