Pragoti Sangha, S Bima promoted to 1st Division League

Karwanbazar Pragoti Sangha and Sadharan Bima KS earned the right to play in the First Division Football League from next season as two of the four top finishers of the Kool Metropolis 2nd Division Football League that concluded at Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur Monday, reports UNB.
Earlier, Police Athletics Club and PWD Sporting Club secured the promotion to the Metropolis First Division Football League as champion and runners-up securing 32 and 26 points respectively.
Karwanbazar PS and Sadharan Bima KS bagged 22 and 21 points respectively.
In the day's first match, Sadharan Bima KS beat City Club by 1-0 goal with Parag Moni scoring the match-winner in the 39th minute.
In the day's other match, East End Club beat Karwanbazar PS by 1-0 goal.
Mohammed Raihan scored the all important goal for the winners in the 18th minute.
Dilkusha Sporting Club and Sun Rise Sporting Club were relegated to the 3rd Division League as two bottom teams of the league.
