Pran Agro unit catches fire in Natore

A fire broke out at a factory of Pran Agro Limited at Ekdala on the outskirts of Natore town on Saturday. Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit in the office room of the mastered oil production section of Pran Agro Limited on the first floor around 3:00am. Soon the fire engulfed the entire building. Being informed, five fire fighting units from Natore, Rajshahi and Pabna rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze after two-and-half-hour of frantic efforts. However, no causality was reported in the fire. The losses caused by the blaze could not be immediately estimated, according to UNB.
