PRAN pickle contest award-giving tomorrow

The awards-giving ceremony of the PRAN National Pickle Competition-2018 and a day-long Achar Utsab (pickle fair) will be held on Friday at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the city, 
says a statement.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni will hand over the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
A total of 3,796 competitors across the country have participated at the 19 version of the PRAN national pickle competition showcasing over 7,500 pickles prepared by them.
Like previous years, a total of 12 women in the four categories - sweet, sour, hot and others - will be awarded as the best contestants. Besides, a 'pickle of the year' will be nominated from the four categories.
Various pickles and a number of foods items to eat with pickles made by the culinary and 'chutney' specialists will be showcased at the pickle fair.
