Pran signs $2.04m export deal with Senegal firm

Pran Exports Limited signed Tuesday an export agreement of $2.04 million with Poultrade, an importer of Dakar, Senegal, said a press release.
Pran Export Ltd. chief Hasan Mahbub and Wassim Hoballah of Poultrade signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations to import Pran juices and drinks in tetrapak, can and plastic bottles and confectionery items.
Deputy Managing Director Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Manager (Export) Mizanur Rahman and Product Development Manager Monirul Islan of Pran-RFL Group were also present in the signing ceremony.
Chowdhury said, Pran as the largest food processor and exporter is doing very well in its export markets. Now-a-days Pran is operating its export business in Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia covering more than 66 countries.
Hoballah said Pran product is getting more and more popular day by day in Senegal. He expressed the hope that they might make an agreement for spices, pickle, jam, jelly and other products also.
