Pran to export products worth $3.5m to Angola

Pran Export Ltd, a concern of Pran-RFL group is going to export products to Angola worth 3.5 million US dollar this fiscal.
Chief of export Pran-RFL group, Md Mizanur Rahman and Director General of 'Distrimarca Lda' Angola, Aidibe Gihad Saturday signed an agreement in this regard.
Mr Gihad said there is a large market potentiality of Bangladeshi food products in Angola and other African countries.
He said due to gradual development of the quality of Pran products and because of better marketing and distribution initiatives it is creating hype among African countries.
Director of Pran Eleas Mridha said Pran products are not only being exported to African countries but also to European and Middle Eastern countries.
'At present we are exporting to 73 countries all over the world and we have been conferred the most prestigious export trophy for the last six consecutive years for our export activities,' he added.
Chief (export) Md Mizanur Rahman demanded resident envoys of African countries in the capital so that Pran could export products in a large scale.
He said within a very short time Pran would start exporting to Papua New Guinea, East Timor, Brunei, Mauritius Reunion and Algeria, among other countries.
Assistant General Manager (export) Zakir Hossain, Manager (export) Md Monirul Islam, Brand Manager (marketing) Md Kamrul Hasan, Assistant Manager (export) Golam Minhaz and other officials were present on the occasion.
