Pranab invites President to visit India

Indian President Pranab Mukherjee invited President Abdul Hamid to visit India. Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pankaj Saran handed over an invitation letter of Pranab Mukharjee to President Abdul Hamid during a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban on Sunday. President Abdul Hamid accepted the invitation and conveyed his thanks to his Indian counterpart for inviting him to visit the neighbouring country. "The date of the visit will be fixed at a convenient time through discussion in diplomatic channel," President's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB after the meeting.
