Pre-budget meet held in Gopalganj

Our Correspondent GOPALGANJ, Apr 28: A pre-budget discussion meeting 2013-14 was held at Nazrul public library in Gopalganj yesterday (Saturday). Sushasoner Jonno Procharavizan (SUPRO), Gopalganj district unit organised the meeting. MM Golam Mostafa, professor of Bangabandhu University College and SM Golam Mostafa former Head Teacher of Swarnakali high school, Gopalganj spoke as the chief and special guest respectively on the occasion. Teachers, students, advocates, journalists, political leaders, NGO representatives and local elite participated in the discussion meeting. The speakers said, "We do not want an ambitious budget but a pro-people budget which should bring prosperity for the nation". Md. Mozaharul Haque Bablu, President SUPRO, Gopalganj district unit presided over the meeting. Among others Md. Abu Hossain, Principal, Anirban KG school, Gopalganj, SM Nahas Pasha, Advocate, Gopalganj Bar Council, Rabindra Nath Adhikary, district correspondent, Daily Sangbad, Sankar Kumar Das, Vice President of JSD, Gopalganj district and Barun Kumar Saha, Executive Director of Joy Rahman Welfare Foundation, Gopalganj spoke on the occasion.
