Premier Bank managers urged to work for bank's betterment

All managers of Premier Bank Limited have been urged to exert all-out efforts to ensure development of the bank in all key areas.
Managing Director of the bank Abu Haniff Khan made the appeal while presiding over the monthly managers' conference of the bank in the city recently, said a press release.
He also requested the managers to achieve this year's financial goal by exciting their subordinates into action and activities.
The conference discussed various key issues including mobilisation of deposit, recovery of overdue loans, implementation of risk management guidelines and compliance of audit report (both internal and external).
Issues like diversification of products, downsizing of expenses to ensure optimum profit, enhancement of marketing drive and streamlining of client services were also discussed in the conference.
All branch mangers of the city and heads of division from the head office of the bank attended the conference.
Among others, Additional Managing Director Nurul Alam Chowdhury and Consultant Kazi Anwarul Mahbub were present at the conference, the release added.
