Premier Leasing approves 15pc stock dividend

The shareholders of Premier Leasing and Finance Limited approved 15 per cent stock dividend for the year 2009 at the 8th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company held at Spectra Convention Centre Ltd at Gulshan in the city Thursday.
The shareholders also approved the increase of authorised capital of the company from Tk 40,00,00,000 (four hundred million taka) to Tk 1,000,000,000 (one billion taka) at the 4th extra-ordinary general meeting (EGM) held at the same venue on the day.
Premier Leasing Chairman Dr Mizanur Rahman Shelley presided over the meetings, said a press release.
Vice Chairman Syed Muhammed Abbdul Mannan MP, Audit Committee Chairman ASM Feroz Alam, Executive Committee Chairman AZM Akramul Haq, directors Atif Rahman and Barrister Mehnaz Mannan and Alternate Director M Tabibul Huq were present at the meeting.
Sponsor Director Juned Ahmed, ATM Shoeb and SM Shafiqul Islam (Mamun), Senior Partner of Zoha Zaman Kabir Rashid and Co Harun-or-Rashid and Managing Director (Current Charge) Md Golam Mustafa of the company were also present beside a vast number of shareholders.
Premier Leasing Company Secretary Subash Chandra Moulick FCS conducted the meeting.
