Premier Leasing MD in Dubai to attend ALFA meet

Kazi Emdadul Haque, managing director (MD) of Premier Leasing and Finance Limited (PLFL) and vice-president of Asian Leasing and Finance Association (ALFA) left Dhaka Wednesday to attend the 55th governing council meeting of ALFA scheduled to be held in Dubai today (Thursday), said a press release.
Mr Haque started his banking career with Uttara Bank Limited in 1973 as a probationary officer and subsequently, served in two other banks -- Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and The City Bank Limited -- until 1995 in different managerial positions in its important branches.
He then joined Phoenix Finance and Investment Limited (former Phoenix Leasing Company Ltd.) in 1995 as vice-president and then promoted to the post of deputy managing director.
The PLFL managing director took part in various professional training courses and seminars at home and abroad.
He is expected to return home on November 14 , 2009.
