'Premier TC' introduced in local market

Premier Bank has introduced its own brand of Visa travel card called 'Premier TC' in the local market- targeting the country's ever growing number of overseas travelers.
This pre-paid foreign currency card which is denominated in US Dollar offers a range of 'hassle-free' payment facilities for the overseas travelers while they are on tour- the Bank authority said.
The product was formally unveiled at a press conference in the city Monday. Premier Bank Chairman H B M Iqbal, Vice Chairman B H Haroon and Managing Director Niaz Habib were present on the occasion.
"The Premier TC Card is a smart and convenient way of carrying cash and paying check cashing fees while you are doing a transaction overseas", Premier Bank Managing Director said, adding, "we are the first bank in Bangladesh to introduce this Visa prepaid card in Bangladesh".
Premier TC is easy to purchase as no bank account or credit check is required- the officials said. One does not even need to have a premier bank account to acquire this card- they informed.
As it is a prepaid card, spending is limited to the money that is loaded on the card. The maximum amount of money that can be loaded on the card is US$ 5000 a year.
