Prennoy eliminated

Bangladeshi archer Prennoy Murong was eliminated from the men's recurve individual event of the 2nd Summer Youth Olympics Games after losing to British archer Bradley Denny by 0-6 set points in the elimination round at Fangshan Archery Field of Nanjing, China Saturday, reports UNB.
In the elimination round, Prennoy earned 81 points from three sets (26, 27 and 28 points) while his counterpart Bradley Denny scored 87 points (28, 30 and 29 points).
Earlier, in the ranking round Friday, Prennoy placed 22nd among 32 competitors to move to the elimination round while Bradley Denny finished 11th scoring 616. In the 1st round Prennoy scored 646 -- 317 in 1st half and 329 in 2nd half.
Apart from archery, Bangladesh showed very dismal performance in the four other disciplines too.
Bangladesh Youth Hockey team lost in all four Pool A matches; 1-9 goals against Spain, 2-5 goals against Australia, 1-4 goals against Canada and 3-4 goals against South Africa.
