Preparations for pry terminal exams satisfactory: Minister

Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr M Afsarul Amin Tuesday expressed satisfaction over the work plan and progress in preparations for holding this year's primary and ebtedayee terminal examinations, reports BSS.
He expressed the satisfaction at a preparatory meeting at the department of primary education at Mirpur in the city.
The minister directed the district and upazila education officers to hold the primary and ebtedayee examinations 2010 smoothly with the cooperation of the local people's representatives, taking lessons from the mistakes in the examinations held last year.
The total number of examinees for primary terminal examination this year is 2,157,400 and number of examinees for ebtedayee terminal examination is 331,040.
