President asks all to work for women rights

President Abdul Hamid on Wednesday urged all to work more sincerely and effectively with a view to establishing women rights in the society. The call came when Executive Director of Manusher Jonno Foundation Shaheen Anam called on the President at Bangabhaban. During the meeting, Shaheen Anam apprised the President of different activities and ongoing programmes of the Manusher Jonno Foundation. She said the foundation is working for reducing violence against women as well as establishing women rights in every sector of social and national life. The President expressed his satisfaction with the activities of the foundation, according to UNB.
