President attends Saudi King\\\'s Eid reception

President Md Abdul Hamid has attended a grand reception hosted by the Saudi Arabian King at his palace in Mina. King Abdullh bin Abdul Aziz-al-Saud held the reception on Sunday for ‘Royal Guests’ (visiting heads of state and government who are performing Hajj this year). Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz-al-Saud welcomed the guests and exchanged Eid greetings and pleasantries with the guests on behalf of the King. President Hamid then made a courtesy call on Crown Prince Salman, also the kingdom’s deputy preme minister and minister of defense, discussing matters of mutual interest. He thanked the Saudi king for inviting him and members of his family to perform Hajj. Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, Disaster and Relief Minister Mofazzel Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, Bangladesh Ambassador Md Shahidul Islam were present during the call. President Hamid has performed ‘Tawaf Al-Wada' at Makkah’s Kaba Sharif on Monday and will reach Madinah on Oct 7 to perform holy Ziarah, according to bdnews24.com.
