President authenticates budget for 2014-15

President M Abdul Hamid on Thursday authenticated the proposed national budget for fiscal year 2014-2015 and the revised budget for 2013-2014 for placing those before the Jatiya Sangsad (parliament) by Finance Minister AMA Muhith. The President authenticated the budget at his Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban office. Finance Secretary Fazle Kabir, External Resources Division (ERD) Secretary Mesbah Uddin and National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md Golam Hossain were present on the occasion. Earlier, on his arrival at the parliament building, the President was received by Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Mia and Chief Whip ASM Firoz, according to UNB.
