President, CA greet Myanmar counterparts

President Iajuddin Ahmed and Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed Thursday felicitated their Myanmar counterparts on the occasion of the country's Indepen-dence Day that falls today (Friday), reports UNB.
In his message to the Chairman of State Peace and Development Council of Myanmar, Senior General Than Shwe, President Iajuddin expressed the hope that the long-standing bond of friendship and cooperation that so happily exists between Bangladesh and Myanmar would be further widened and deepened in the days ahead.
In his message to Myanmar Prime Minister General Thein Sein, Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed expressed his conviction that the existing friendly relations between the two friendly countries would continue to "grow in large magnitude for the best benefit of our two peoples".
