President condemns Peshawar massacre

President Abdul Hamid on Wednesday expressed deep shock at the killing of children in a Taliban attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan. ‘I’m deeply shocked at this barbaric and heinous massacre … I strongly condemn such a savage killing of school children,’ said the President in a condolence message. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and offered sympathy to the bereaved family members. About 150 people, including 132 children, were killed after Taliban broke into a military-run high school in Peshawar and opened fire on Tuesday, according to a news agency.
